REVIEW OF WONDER (2017)
Isabel Pullman (Julia Roberts) plays the mother of “Room” breakout August Pullman (Jacob Tremblay) in “Wonder,” based on the novel by Raquel J. Palacio. The drama tells the story of August Pullman (Jacob Tremblay), who, born with the facial abnormality that prevented him from going to a mainstream school earlier in life, becomes an unlikely hero when he enters the local fifth grade.
Stephen Chbosky directs from a script by Jack Thorne and Steve Conrad. Producers are Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman.
Summit Entertainment’s “Granite Mountain” also stars Josh Brolin, Jennifer Connelly, Jeff Bridges, Taylor Kitsch and James Badge Dale, along with Teller. Based on the real-life Granite Mountain Hotshots, the actioner follows an elite group of firefighters that battled the Yarnell Hill Fire, one of the deadliest wildfires in history, to save an Arizona town.
