REVIEW OF COLOSSAL
Colossal is a 2017 globally co-produced science fiction action-thriller movie directed furthermore written by Nacho Vigalondo. The movie stars Anne Hathaway, Dan Stevens, Jason Sudeikis, Austin Stowell, and Tim Blake Nelson.
The movie had its world premiere at the Toronto International movie Festival on September 9, 2016. Shortly after, a secret unnamed company acquired distribution license to the film. which later turned out to be Tom Quinn & Tim League’s new untitled distribution company, NEON. The movie went onto the screen at the Sundance movie Festival on January 20, 2017. The film is scheduled to be released on April 7, 2017.
Gloria (Anne Hathaway) drinks too hard and parties too much. Her boyfriend has enough of it and throws her out. Gloria returns to her hometown, dreaming of making a new start, but instead revives her childhood friendship with Oscar (Jason Sudeikis), who runs a bar. After drinking a night away with Oscar and his friends, he wakes up to discover a gigantic monster rampaging through Seoul and realizes that somehow the monster is connected to her.
